This sculpture represents my new leg after a surgery helped me to walk without pain again. I made this piece by casting my own leg similar to how they make a cast for a orthese in the hospital. After freeing myself I stitched the cut I had to make closed again. I added the metal to point to the metal that was placed during the surgery. The pink coloured area’s are area’s where I was experiencing pain after the surgery. The red are places where scars are visible
